Jillian L. Haring is a nationally recognized expert in violence prevention and Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management. She brings over twenty years of experience across public education, including roles as a district administrator, behavior specialist, and intervention specialist.

She has led multidisciplinary threat assessment teams and now advises school districts and organizations nationwide on building practical, prevention focused safety systems. Jillian has trained over 5,000 professionals and is a frequent national presenter and published author.

Jillian L. Haring is a nationally recognized consultant and subject matter expert in violence prevention, behavioral threat assessment, and school and community safety systems. She brings over twenty years of public sector experience, including roles as a district administrator, behavior specialist, special education teacher, and intervention specialist within one of the nation’s largest public school systems.

Jillian has extensive experience leading Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management teams, working on complex cases involving risks to both individuals and communities. She has supported multidisciplinary collaboration across education, mental health, and law enforcement, and has been involved in post incident system reviews that helped shape prevention focused reforms and stronger coordination across agencies.

In her current consulting role, she advises school districts, state agencies, and organizations across the country on designing and implementing effective violence prevention frameworks. Her work focuses on practical application, evidence based strategies, and improving systems for communication, accountability, and early intervention. She has trained over 5,000 professionals across more than ten states.

Jillian is also a national presenter and published author, with work featured in Education Week and District Administration. She is known for her ability to connect research, policy, and real world practice, helping organizations move from compliance driven approaches to sustainable prevention models.
