Art Hushen – Founder and Lead Instructor, National Institute of Crime Prevention (NICP, Inc.)
Art Hushen is the Founder and Lead Instructor of the National Institute of Crime Prevention (NICP, Inc.), a global training and consulting company specializing in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). The NICP maintains the nationally recognized CPTED Professional Designation (CPD) Program.
Prior to founding NICP, Inc., Art served with the Tampa Police Department’s Special Operations Bureau / CPTED Section, where he was instrumental in creating the Department’s CPTED Unit and Tampa’s first CPTED Ordinance for the Westshore Business District—the largest business district in Florida. He implemented the CPTED review process for the Tampa Parks Department Greenways and Trails Master Plan, worked with the Tampa Housing Authority on their Hope VI program, and participated in the task force that developed design guidelines.
Greg Sanfilippo – Doyle Security Services / Retired Sergeant, Counterterrorism Division, NYPD
Greg Sanfilippo represents both the private sector and law enforcement, as a retired Sergeant with the Counterterrorism Division of the NYPD. He brings valuable insight into how CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) principles are applied to enhance security operations and facility design.
